Hi Kathy, This is Jane Nobes Brennan. The webinars that you mention sound like they may be of interest to my daughter. Her name is Margaret Brennan and is the host of FACE THE NATION on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am on CBS. She is always reading and looking for timely information on political, Corona Virus, and foreign affairs as well as the economic impact of this Pandemic on the US. My husband was in finance( private placements) until recently in NYC. He took retirement but is not sure if he is happy not working. He probably would love to hear about your company. Where is it located? I’m retired I guess but volunteer for a national program called Art Goes to School. I go into school districts and teach kids how to read art and have discussions with them on what the artist dead trying to express. Some ideas in the paintings or sculptures reflect political views of the time period or scientific advancements or historical events. The discussions also stress vocabulary that reinforces their art concepts and reading skills. Good to hear from you. We missed you at the reunion.
Hello everyone. I hope you and your families are healthy and safe. Hard at work with my VC firm Golden Seeds supporting the early stage companies in our portfolio. Using the time to expand my knowledge in new areas. Several free webinars I recommend: Economic Club of Washington DC moderated by David Rubenstein, Chair; DLD (Digital Life Design), a global conference network now offering weekly sessions with thought leaders and experts such as Prof Scott Galloway (NYU) this past week and Sir Martin Sorrell next week; and the Technion, Israel’s MIT which boasts numerous Nobel laureates and is offering weekly sessions with their professors and alums working on innovations to combat Covid-19 and related future medical problems. In the absence of live productions, my husband and I are watching many of the MetOpera’s daily HD Live streams of many worthy productions. The National Theater in London and our own Broadway are also offering live streams of certain productions. Stay healthy and safe all.
