  1. I continue to be active with the Lake Mahopac Garden Club. I have converted my front garden into a native garden for pollinators. I am working with the Putnam County Master Gardener program to promote pollinator pathways.

I a sad note I have not been able to see my grandchildren who live in Calgary, Alberta. It has been two years because of covid.

  2. Thank you, Joan, for alerting me to this being-connected-with-classmates page. I noted that Virginia posted a message almost a year ago (!) but it seems that not many of us know of this possibility. I miss the news notes that our MSV magazine used to carry. Could we use this to note happy events like births of grandchildren and sad ones like loss of our classmates? Looking forward to our next Zoom gathering, thanks to Sr. Jean Flannelly.

  3. Thanks, Joan and Barbara for getting the link to us. If any one wants to be part of our Zoom gatherings, just email me. Our next meeting will be sometime after the middle of April. A good Holly Week and happy Easter

  4. I’m so happy to know that this is there! How can we get this out to our other classmates?

My husband and I are both doubly vaccinated, and we are having our first visitors in a year! Bob’s son Jeff from San Francisco and his family are visiting us this coming week. We are planning to do mostly outdoor things – the Botanical Garden, the Japanese Friendship Garden, hiking (I am not included) and swimming. We are hoping to get back to the East Coast this summer.

  5. I love this idea!
Thank you to the 21st Century thinkers who set up this portal. I hope the word gets out to all of our classmates, especially in this reunion year.

  6. Hey dear classmates,
I just zoomed yesterday with 11 other members of our class….what a hoot to “see” everyone and hear what they are up to! Jean Flannelly S.C. organized us. Ask the office for her contact info. We would love to connect with you all. Love Harriet

  7. Hi Dorothy!

We loved hearing how you are keeping busy during this quarantine! Everyone is becoming very acquainted with Zoom these days, so you are not alone!

Sending well wishes to you from the Office of Alumane/i Relations!

  8. I’m surviving in isolation with my many activities, making masks, painting, cooking, reading, doing puzzles and yard work along with making many phone calls. My four kids and 10 grandchildren are not near so we Zoom conference.
My sister, Priscilla McNamara, (class of 1960) is isolating in her apartment in New Rochelle, NY.

  9. Hi Virginia –

We are so glad to hear that you and your family are doing well during this uncertain time! We hope we get to see you in person soon!

Sending well wishes your way from the Office of Alumnae/i Relations and Giving!

  10. CMSV Alumnae/I Association has come up with a brilliant idea. I hope that many of you will respond to their invitation. As for me, Jim and I are healthy and enduring the lockdown. We have children and grandchildren in town; we see them often, keeping the appropriate social distancing. The same with my sister Betty Feehan (class of ’63), who also lives in Boonton, NJ. I await news from all of you. Take care and stay healthy.
